Former Big Brother Naija (Season 7) winner Phyna has opened up about why she no longer advises anyone to audition for the reality TV show.

Speaking candidly, Phyna explained that while BBNaija can bring fame, the popularity housemates enjoy on the show rarely lasts after they leave the house, because the spark is no longer there.

“The steeze housemates do have on the show they don’t have it again, because it’s the same fan base that move from one to another, no new people, nothing new. It’s just the same people.

And that aside, the show has lost credibility compared to the way it was before, because when you tell someone now that I came out of BBNaija, they won’t rate you like they do then.,” she said.

According to Phyna, many people misunderstand what life after the show entails, often assuming instant wealth, stability, and recognition.

She also highlighted that several ex-housemates struggle quietly behind the scenes, despite the glamorous image portrayed on social media.

For many, the reality of post-show life is very different from the excitement and attention they receive while in the house.

Phyna’s candid remarks have reignited conversations about the true cost of reality TV stardom, emphasizing that potential contestants should be fully aware of the pressures that come with it.
